I thought about it for a long time and then gave Thomman a good discount. :)
I needed better sound quality and more possibilities of use. I use it mostly for practicing and in my home studio for recording
Pros:
- great sound
- 5 Amp types: Clean, Crunch, Lead, Brown, Acoustic and you can edit all of them once more via the button "Variantom"
- 5 effects, 3 of which can be used simultaneously: Booster, Mod, FX, Delay and Reverb
- I especially like the Reverb and Delay, they are really good
- simple and logical control
- when using headphones, the sound is still great, which is important for me as a resident of an apartment building
- even the 0.5W mode plays nicely and can be used in the living room 😁
- really well built.
- after almost half a year of use - no problems have appeared yet
- it offers so many possibilities of use, that I probably won't even be able to use half of them

Just Perfect!

I had been needing a new amp for some time now, and I'm so glad I went with the Katana. Now, my needs for an amp are very simple, so I won't be going into elaborate detail. But this thing really blew me away with how solid and feature complete it all is.

I love the clean black and white aesthetic; the settings and controls are clear and intuitive; and especially do I like that power control knob - very useful! I'm really looking forward to recording some of my own material with this amp in the future.

For a real noob like me, I really can't find any faults with this. It does everything I need it to do and then some. Highly recommend!

The effects built into this amp are amazing. The sound quality is awesome, too. I'd recommend getting the external footswitch, though.
