Impressive!
Years have past of my only having electric guitars at home. After getting my first acoustic in over a decade, I was reminded how much more expensive their strings can get. D'addario is always a brand I trust, and even after being slightly disappointed with a couple of their products, I still love the brand. These strings reinforce my positive view of them.
They may not be as flashy and cool as some other options, but such great sounding and confortable strings are always a win. I play what I call bluegrass-classical style, using my rusty fingerstyle learned from years of bluegrass fun, but now I'm trying to learn classical technique and incorporate it, and these strings sound great for that. They're very defined, and really help bring my beaten up acoustic to life.
10/10 will buy again.

For a friend
A neighbor wanted a good but cheap guitar so I helped him choose one; we went to a store and picked the best-sounding and best-made among the budget ones. It's a small-size acoustic with the body of a classical guitar, the headstock and tuners of a classical, but a truss rod Inside the neck, like a folk.
After the stock strings became worn out I ordered some D'Addario's for him because they have always been great on my classical, folk, bass and electric guitars. I prefer those with medium-hard tension on my own guitars because they are not the cheapest, and made with full-size quality solid wood tops. Medium-hard barely feels different while it sounds snappier.
But I suspect my friend's guitar is not made with such durable wood so I chose the normal tension strings to avoid the risk of having too much tension on the bridge. The tone was fresher with more harmonics, not just because the strings were new but because the stock strings on a very affordable guitar can't be superb.
When my friend played it I noticed how the volume was stronger, too. They have no cosmetic defects or unevenness. We played them with a bone pick, fingernails of finger flesh, and the tone was always powerful and shimmering. The guitar is very okay for its price, and became better, nice grain, nice ring.
If you have a full-size classical with quality wood use the medium-hard tension, they don't really feel harder but sound punchier. I don't know about the hardest strings in the line.

Went out of tune all the time
Every time I went to pick up the guitar with these strings, it was ridiculously out of tune, by about 1-3 semitones.

I keep coming back to them
I often try new strings on all my guitars because it's a simple and effective way to look for improvements on existing instruments. So I tried many strings on my classical guitar but keep coming back to these. They sound great, they feel great under the fingers, and they're very reliable. I have not found anything better so far.

Go-to strings
One of the best sounding strings for my classical guitar, perfect feel and lovely sound. Also fairly durable.

Durable and trustworthy!
I've used these strings on all my classical and nylon strings, including Godin multiac, and they are perfect for my needs. Besides they are very durable and last long.

First restring
These are the first strings I put in my classical after the stock strings and they feel and sound pretty good, completely understand why they're so popular

geweldig
Zeer goede snaren. Ik speel al meer dan 10 jaar klassieke gitaar en kies nog steeds voor deze snaren.
