Very well thought out and versatile module

This module is great.
It takes a little setting up but is really useful once up and running. There are some good owner reviews on youtube which are essential to watch before buying.
Some nice touches are being able to set the CV response mode (0-10V | -5 to +5V | 1V/Oct) and being able to set a slight trigger delay so you can implement a CV change just before a trigger which is essential to accurately triggering the sample/slice required.
3 CV per channel is great fun but for me being able to access up to 32 samples by CV and 32 slices within each sample by CV is the killer feature. For a space restrained performance case, this module can really cover a lot of bases if you put in some preparation time.
I'd really love if Erica Synth made a big midi sampler with an enhanced version of this software as it is really nice and easy to use after maybe one hour of use.

Killer Module

So Much can be done with just this module! Sampler, slicer, performance mode, multiple sample loading and triggering plus changing using CV and so much more! Definitely an asset in my system! The addition of my own synthesized sounds in the Micro SD card, makes it a must have at least for me! Thank you Erica Synths for making such a powerful module with so many possibilities!

Das Sample Drum Modul von Erica Synth hat mich vor allem wegen der Spielbarkeit und durch das große Display überzeugt. Alle wichtigen Parameter sind übersichtlich angeordnet und schnell zu finden. Hat man erstmal seine Einstellungen und Samples vorbereitet entfaltet das Sample Drum seinen überaus freundlichen Workflow. Die zuweisbaren CV Slots sind Zucker, und geben einem eine menge potential zum experimentieren! Das slicen ist auch überaus gut gelungen und geht nach kleiner Einarbeitung schnell von der Hand.
Bedienung und Features sind Top.

Zum Sound; über die SD-geladene Samples sind überhaupt kein Problem und sind von der Sound Qualität einwandfrei. Aber möchte man in das Modul Recorden lässt die Sound Qualität doch eher zu wünschen übrig. Habe ich einmal ausprobiert und dann auch wieder gelassen. Wer also damit recorden möchte sollte doch besser über ein gescheites Interface gehen.

Von den integrierten Effekten darf man aber auch nicht zu viel erwarten. der Delay ist ganz in Ordnung aber der Reverb ist eher nicht zu gebrauchen. Ist aber auch eine Geschmackssache. Drive und Fold sind ganz nett und hier und da auch schon zum Einsatz gekommen. Am meisten benutze ich aber den Hi oder lo pass Filter der nach dem letzten Updates auch ganz gut klingt.

Stereo habe ich das Sample Drum noch nicht benutzt.

Die Verarbeitung sticht aus dem Rack heraus und ist Außerordentlich gut. Allerdings sind die Potis ein wenig leicht gängig, gewöhnt man sich aber schnell dran

Ich bin sehr Zufrieden mit dem Modul und für den Preis und den Umfang den man geboten bekommt kann man nichts falsch machen.
