War die Kurvenform im Vorgänger nur schaltbar zwischen linear und logarithmisch, ist sie hier stufenlos regelbar – und zwar auch in den exponentiellen Bereich. Bursts können nicht nur in Anzahl und Form eingestellt, sondern auch mit ab- oder anschwellender Amplitude erzeugt werden.
Der größere Funktionsumfang bedingt zwar etwas mehr Einarbeitung – so erfordert die Kompaktheit beispielsweise verschiedenfarbig leuchtende Taster, aber für Menschen ohne Farbwahrnehmungsprobleme ist das Modul durchaus beherrschbar. Die Konfiguration bleibt nach einem Powercycle erhalten.
