This type of XLR plug never color the sound except deliver the sound with more musical image.

The industry standard, and still top of the class.

With over 35 experience of making, repairing, and generally abusing mic leads in some pretty darned rough environments, there is simply NOTHING that even remotely compares to the build quality of the Neutrik jacks and XLRs, but more importantly nothing compares to the reliability and protection that the chuck strain relief system brings. Cables are better protected, solder joints are never strained, and I end up doing far less repairs. Even Switchcraft for all their legendary status just are not even close to the reliability of Neutrik for repeated hard stage use with clumsy, uncaring musicians.

Don't even consider using another brand. The saving is not worth it. In the case of Switchcraft, the extra cost of those is not worth it, either.

Das Beste ist gerade gut genug

Im Laufe der Jahre habe ich alle meine Audio Kabel für mobile Beschallungen auf Sommer Kabel (Galileo/Albedo)umgerüstet.Das war schon einmal ein großer Schritt nach vorne.Natürlich hatte ich bei den alten Leitungen schon immer Neutrik NC3 (normale Ausführung)verwendet, und diese Steckverbindungen wanderten an die neuen Sommer Kabel.Ich war damit auch ganz zufrieden,habe mir aber des öfteren die Kontaktflächen angesehen und mir so mein Teil dabei gedacht , das muss wohl der normale Verschleiß sein,sichtbarer Abrieb und Schmutzpartikel.Der Gedanke daran,kleinste Spannungen und Ströme müssen auch genau an diesen Stellen verlustfrei übertragen werden (und wie viel dieser Verbindungen befinden sich manchmal im Signalweg?)hat mich dazu veranlasst alle Steckverbindungen auf diesen Stecker in Ausführung HE umzurüsten.Ich werde in Zukunft die Steckverbindungen genau beobachten und hoffe mit dieser Maßnahme genau wie beim Kabel einen weiteren Schritt nach vorne gekommen zu sein.Ich habe einfach keine Lust mehr aus Kostengründen bei Steckverbindungen Kompromisse einzugehen.Ob diese HE Ausführung der Weisheit letzter Schluss ist kann ich nicht sagen , aber für mich ein gutes Gefühl genau diesen im Signalweg zu haben.
