Probably the best guitar tuners out there...

I am playing guitars since late 70's. And I played a lot of different ones (from very cheap to very expensive and custom guitars).

For years I was praying Gotoh tuners for enormously smooth action and precision. And I was using them on most of guitars I had.

Everything changed when I started using Planet Waves PWAT tuners. They are absolute winners!
If you are gigging guitarist, or session guitarist and you have to change strings in few guitars every day, you will really love those tuners. They not only very precise and smooth, but they are really guitarist friendly. Mechanism cutting the string ends automatically is fantastic invention.

I put Planet Waves PWAT on six guitars now, and I am absolutely in love with them. Does not matter, if you use tremolo or not, they are still great tuners and huge time savers.

Now - if you are star and have your technician - you will probably pay no attention, as restringing is not your job. But, if you are professional, who has to change string on many guitars every day - go for those tuners. Staying in tune, looking good and saving a lot of time while restringing.

I fully recommend them.

I've bought a couple of sets of these Planet Waves Tuners in the past and they're really good.
Easy to fit.
They look great. I put mine on a White Strat with all black hardware which also has a white headstock.
They work. The string cutting mechanism ensures you have a very nice neat looking headstock and they stay in tune as well as anything else that I've ever used.
Highly recommended.

Still working like charm even after 9 years of service. Not even color fading. The black still shines like new.

Planet Waves PWAT-6R2 - absolutely perfect!

I´ve bought this tuners to replace the original Grover Tuners of my Gibson Explorer with black hardware.
Installing this tuners would not be difficult, if you are able to change strings on your guitar. Becuse, everything fits perfect. No need to drill new holes, only change the existing tuner to the Planet Waves.
A nice goodie is the string cutting while you tune your guitar. Cutting die e and a string would be a little bit heavy if you use thick strings.
