Dobrá malá konzole

Vcelku dobrá světelná konzole v kvalitním ocelovém šasi, lze napájet i z baterie 9V (AAA, nebo AA by byly jistě mnohem lepší).
6 kanálů stačí tak pro RGB světlomet a nějaký stmívač, bohužel není možné, aby pult ovládal jiné DMX adresy, než 1 až 6.
Display v této cenové hladině je bonus, ale k ničemu. Extrémně se leskne a není příliš přehledný. Uživatelsky by byla přívětivější řada bar graphs, nežli číselná hodnota DMX.
Kontrolka power je příliš jasná a oslňuje i ve dne, ale to stačí přelepit páskou.
Nicméně za ty peníze je to v dobré.

Simple DMX controller - does the job!

I needed a very simple controller to set the colour-mix of some wall wash LED colour bars. Does what it says on the tin perfectly for hardly any money. No fancy features at all (unlike to other DMX desk at the venue which casual users find totally confusing!). I was surprised it even gives a readout of the DMX code on each channel.

The only constraint is that it is fixed to use DMX channels 1-6, so your lights will have to be set to these (not normally a problem in a stand alone DMX 'universe' ).

Beautifully simple

This is great for simple day-to-day control of DMX lights. I'm fitting a range of LED lights for a stage in a community centre. For performances we use computer control for full control of the lights, but we need something simple for day to day use. That is where this 6-channel controller is brilliant.

My lights are RBGAW-UV, and right now I have all the lights set to 6 channel DMX mode on the same address. I'm using this controller battery operated with a wireless DMX transmitter. I'm finding it really easy to directly control the lights from anywhere in that hall.

I won't use this controller during our performance, but I will be permanently fitting it afterwards, so that other hall users can easily control the lights. I might even fit two, one for the lights on the front of the stage, and one for the lights at the back.

The only mild problem is that the power LED is stupidly bright. I had to put a bit of tape over it to bring it down to a normal level.

The only improvement I would make is to add a USB output for power. If you plug a DMX transmitter in then it needs power too. Having that come out of the controller would save on plugs and wires.

Two mods by me

I wanted this for the simple operation of some Equinox scanners that have a one channel option, and as this has a numeric readout it would be easy to use but I made two modifications, firstly I removed the smoked glass cover over the readout to make it brighter and clearer to read, and then I changed the awful bright white power LED to a nice dull red one. This didn't require changing the dropper resister, just the LED. Result, now very happy. Yes I know I voided the warranty....! It is now really good, simple small and easy, just right for my needs.
