Tactile au vst plugins! eye candy, who cares about the sound....no!...joking. I have used power cores finalizers the sound is perhaps a familiar sensation although i have regretted investing on 2 power cores due to low shelf life support blah blah macs...(younah_what_Ah_mean). Anyways I have become a collector just having them on my desk makes me happy (increase screen size guys and support those damn things). Very happy still buying remaining ones.

Wer eine native Umsetzung der genialen MD3 Software erwartet hat wie ich, sollte die Finger davon lassen. Ebensowenig ist dieses Produkt eine Plugin Version der neuen Finalizer Stand-alone Software, die gut ist aber eben nicht im Host läuft. Master X HD ist nämlich eine Verschlimmbesserung, die es in sich hat: Man bekommt keine Möglichkeit die Parameter der einzelnen Bänder zu ändern, sondern (nicht zusätzlich sonder stattdessen) eine einzige threshold, Ratio, Attack und Release plus drei (!) von flat abweichende presets, die alles mögliche ändern, aber wahrscheinlich selten das, was man tatsächlich ändern wollte. Wer also die attack nur des bassbandes ändern möchte: Pech gehabt. Die Ratio der Höhen ändern? Denkste. Den Output gain des mittenbandes um 1dB senken? Kein Chance.
So etwas als Innovation, Erleichterung und USP zu verkaufen grenzt an Provokation.
Wer aber ein Gimmick mit tc multiband sound zum reinmischen möchte, weil er ohnehin keine Ahnung hat was er da einstellen möchte, der kann zugreifen. Ich verwende weiter meinen finalizer als AES EBU insert. Wenn tc nicht nachbessert und ein „expert“ Menü implementiert in dem man den mb Algorithmus herkömmlich adjustieren kann, wird das Master X Hd Plugin wohl ein Fail.

Top pour le mastering

Compresseur multibande dynamique il s'incrit tout naturellement dans ma chaine de mastering. Le soft est agréable et facile d'utilisation aidé en cela par ce petit controleur USB. On compresse à l'oreille et non avec la souris les yeux rivés sur les courbes de dynamique et ça ...... c'est un vrai plus

Plugin puissant, mais peu intuitif

Petite machine de belle facture, comme le reste de cette gamme TC electronic. J'ai cependant trouvé l'interface peu intuitive, très axée sur les presets, alors qu'il est possible d'accéder individuellement à une trentaine de paramètres automatisables ou en direct via la STAN et une surface de contrôle, ce qui rend l'utilisation du contrôleur USB moins attractive que d'autres interface.
Il s'agit néanmoins d'un plugin aux multiples possibilités et pas trop gourmand. Affaire à suivre....
