Epiphone Flying V Prophecy Black

Veľmi som sa tešil, kým mi táto gitara príde. Musím ju však vrátiť, pretože ani po 20 dňoch som si nevedel zvyknúť na ten asymmetrical neck.

Zvukovo je super, Fishman snímače sú riadne monštrá a na metal ale aj clean sú ako stvorené. Čo mi vadilo, bolo pri coil splite v čisto krkovej alebo kobylkovej polohe enormne hučali. Pravdepodobne chyba zapojenia. V strednej pozícii prepínača, teda zapnutím oboch krkového spolu s kobylkovým snímačom, bolo všetko ok.

Ergonomicky sa na tom hrá pomerne dobre, troška padá na hlavu, ale to vyrieši kvalitný široký pás. (treba taktiež vedieť oprieť o nohu).

Zamykacie grover mechaniky sú veľmi kvalitné a gitara držala ladenie veľmi dobre.

Ako som vyššie spomínal (len môj subjektívny názor) hrateľnosť do 12teho pražca super. Sóla, prípadne vyhrávky vo vyšších polohách už boli problematickejšie, je to na môj vkus veľmi úzke a to nemám nejako extra veľké ruky. Arpeggia sa hrali obtiažne a komfort pri hre sa pomaly vytrácal.

Celkový dojem, som troška sklamaný, že mi nástroj nesadol do ruky. Snímače by som ešte zniesol, ale ten diskomfort vo vyšších polohách ma prinútil nástroj vrátiť. Zvukovo veľmi dobré.

This guitar caught my attention because of the gorgeous look, specs and hardware: everything seems to be amazing.
Once received i had a very big disappointment.I cannot believe that it could be possible to buy nowadays such a terrible instrument on this price range.
The hardware is good, tuning machine , pickups , bridge;the sound is good too.
How is done is really poor:
Fretwork is very bad, frets are sharp expecially on the high string side.
The guitar is not balanced at all, it goes down on the headstock.
The output jack is in worst place they could choose, and i also don't like the neck profile.
It is unplayable for me.
Nice specs but very poor build.

Bought this a year ago and i've been more than happy with it. Has a really good variety of sounds to it with it's coil splits. The guitar presented itself with absolutely no issues in the finish and a decent setup. The only bad thing i can say about it ia that those Fishmans eat up battery really quick ans they atop working completely if out of battery, giving me a hearth attack everytime, other than that, it's a really solid guitar foe the price.

+Optik, mattschwarze Lackierung sieht super aus, Inlays auch ein Hingucker und perfekt eingepasst, Binding mehrlagig und ohne Fehler
+Mechaniken laufen satt und geschmeidig
+Sound in Grundstellung der Push/Pull Potis, wie man es sich für eine Heavy Gitarre erwartet, vergleichbar mit den üblichen EMG oder SD Konkurrenten
-Kopflastigkeit: der Gurtpin ist nich an der Haslrückseite wie auf den Fotos sondern oben über dem Halsansatz was die Gitarre extrem Kopflastig und für mich unspielbar macht.
-Anleitung nicht vorhanden, auch nicht auf der Herstellerseite, man kann über Youtube herausfinden was die Potis in welcher Stellung machen.
-Soundveränderung durch Pull am Tone Poti ändert das Voicing, Veränderung ist vorallem im HIgh Gain so minimal, das man das Feature auch weglassen könnte
-Humfree Singelcoil (behauptet Fishman) durch Pull am Volume Poti ist nicht Humfree sondern kling wie jeder andere gesplittete Humbucker, wenn ich vor dem Computer sitze fängt er Einstreuungen ein, das er auch nicht verwendbar ist.
-Verarbeitung Halsbinding könnte besser sein
-Bundenden zwar schön Abgerichtet, aber Oberseite doch etwas rauh
-Batterriefach Kabel viel zu kurz, ein Glücksspiel die Batterie ohne Wackelkontakt zu tauschen.
-Preis/Leistung, 400 wäre ein fairer Preis, 900 auch noch ohne Koffer/Tasche ist für das Gebotene viel zu viel, wird leider zurückgeschickt, optisch wäre sie für mich die perfekte V gewesen, Konkurenz hat leider nicht Vergleichbares (zu zackig, Hässliche Kopfplatten, assymetrisch,...)
